Hospitality furniture has to handle a wider range of settings than a single restaurant: a hotel may need lobby bar stools, banquet-friendly side chairs, a breakfast room and a pool deck, all under one project. Contract Seating For Less supplies in-stock hospitality seating, table tops and table bases to hotels, resorts, casinos, clubs and event venues across the U.S. and Canada. The pieces are contract grade, sized for commercial use and priced to drop as quantities rise.
Hospitality seating by space
Breaking a property into zones makes it easier to choose the right mix of chairs, stools and tables.
Hotels and resorts
Hotel restaurants and lobby bars usually call for upholstered seating that feels comfortable through a long meal or a drink before dinner. The Kingsley Side Chair is fully upholstered on a metal frame with metal “wood grain” legs (seat height 18.5″). Its companion, the Kingsley Swivel Bar Stool, adds a swivel seat at 30.25″ seat height. For a resort pool deck or terrace, see the outdoor section below and our hotel restaurant and bar furniture page.
Casinos
Casino bars and restaurants see heavy traffic at all hours. Seating tested to 400 lbs and built to meet ANSI/BIFMA standards, with welded metal frames, holds up to that pace. The Rockwell Bar Stool pairs a “wood grain” metal frame with a faux leather seat and back (seat height 29.5″), which is easy to wipe down between guests.
Clubs and private venues
Country clubs, member clubs and event venues often want a warmer, residential look that is still built for commercial use. The Sawyer Side Chair has a metal frame, a walnut-stained veneer back and an upholstered seat. The Bramble Side Chair uses a solid European beechwood frame, pre-stained in walnut, with an upholstered seat (seat height 19.25″) and typically ships in 2–3 days.
Outdoor hospitality furniture
Pool decks, rooftop bars and terraces need materials that stay outside. Poly-molded chairs and items marked Indoor/Outdoor are UV-resistant and suited for year-round outdoor use; wood-frame seating is for indoor or conditioned spaces. The Sandbar Side Chair has an aluminum frame with synthetic wood slats, is stackable and is offered in several frame and slat combinations. At the bar, the Keel Bar Stool uses the same aluminum-and-synthetic-slat approach with a 30.25″ seat height. Browse all outdoor chairs and outdoor bar stools.
Quartz, granite, sintered stone, HPL and aluminum-frame tops are rated for indoor and outdoor use. The Pinnacle Granite Table Top has a 1-1/4″ bullnose edge and a plywood sub top with epoxy and fiberglass backing, and ships in 2–3 weeks. Pair outdoor tops with a base treated for outdoor use, such as the Meridian Steel Table Base (Indoor/Outdoor), offered in dining and bar height with round spreads for tops up to 54″ round. Planning a hospitality project
- Start with a seat count per outlet. Use about 24″ of table edge per seat to size tables, and count bar stools by the linear feet of bar.
- Keep models consistent across outlets where you can. Ordering more of one model moves you into higher volume tiers (seating tiers run 1–5, 6–19, 20–59, 60–99 and 100+) and makes future replacements simple.
- Mix finishes within one item. Most seating has a 4-piece minimum per item, and finishes or options of that item can be mixed.
- Plan receiving. Larger orders ship palletized by LTL freight, with live freight rates at checkout. Seating arrives fully assembled; bases arrive unassembled with hardware included.
Choosing materials for guest-facing spaces
Hospitality spaces are cleaned constantly, so the seat and back materials matter as much as the frame. Faux leather and HPL seats wipe down quickly between guests, which suits casino bars, breakfast service and pool bars. Upholstered seats add comfort in restaurants and lounges where guests stay longer. Wood frames bring warmth to clubs and dining rooms but should stay indoors. For tables, stone and HPL tops handle heavy use and can move between indoor and outdoor outlets, while solid wood tops suit indoor dining rooms and bars. Keeping one or two materials consistent across a property also makes housekeeping and replacement simpler.
Custom finishes and fabrics
If a design scheme calls for a specific fabric or finish, custom finishes, fabrics or COM are available by quote, typically in 14–20 weeks. For projects on a tighter schedule, the in-stock range covers upholstered chairs, upholstered bar stools, swivel bar stools and a full range of table tops and table bases.
Warranty and durability
Hospitality seating carries a 3-year warranty on frame structural integrity and 1 year on finish and upholstery, from the ship date. Construction details – mortise-and-tenon joinery on most wood pieces and welded rather than bolted metal frames – are what separate contract seating from furniture made for home use.
